A typical day covers Old Dubai in the morning — Al Fahidi’s wind-tower lanes, an abra across Dubai Creek and the gold and spice souks — then the modern city: Jumeirah Mosque, a photo stop at the Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis, Dubai Marina, and finally Downtown with the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain.
